Falkirk Council Enhanced Provision Consultation

STAND has identified significant concerns in Falkirk Council’s statutory consultation on "Enhanced Support in Every Falkirk Primary School". 

We have challenged the Council’s process to protect the rights of neurodivergent children. We made an FOI request and review, written to the Chief Executive and Monitoring Officer, and written to elected councillors. 

Dani Cosgrove (our Chief Operating Officer) and Claire Strock (one of our Empowerment Champions) attended the Council's Executive Committee on 4 December 2025 to make a deputation  in support of a motion seeking an urgent review of consultation procedures.

We do not yet have a response from the Chief Executive or Monitoring Officer, or to our FOI Review. 

We have also written to the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills about this issue on 30 October 2025. We have not yet received a response.
