Thank you for getting in touch with Stronger Together for Autism and Neurodivergence SCIO (STAND).
We know that many of the people who contact us are in distress or facing serious challenges. As a small, predominantly volunteer-run charity, we unfortunately don’t currently have the capacity to respond to all individual enquiries.
We do read every message we receive, and we use what families tell us to inform our wider campaigning and empowerment work.

STAND works to ensure that Scotland is a place where neurodivergent children and their families can thrive.
Our work focuses on four key areas:
We run Sensory Stay & Play sessions, provide visual supports, and work to improve access to education and community opportunities.
We operate WhatsApp peer groups, run workshops for carers, and help families gain knowledge and confidence.
We deliver workshops and work with families to help them understand and assert their children’s rights.
We work with local and national decision-makers to improve systems and policy across Scotland.
To manage expectations, please note that STAND does not provide:
Personal legal, medical, or educational advice
Emergency or crisis response services
Individual casework or advocacy
For general enquiries or enquiries from professionals or partner organisations - we will respond as soon as we can.
Thank you for your understanding, and for everything you do to support neurodivergent children and families.
With best wishes,
The STAND Team
